Movement is the answer

By Euzébia Noleto, November 30, 2009 1:00 am

movimentoSadness, anguish, worries, fear. There are some kinds of suffering so intense that, although they don’t imply on physical pain, seem to have a numbing, lethargic effect. Everything the person wants is to stay still, inert, and wait for the end of that probation.

Certainly there are some problems which solution does not depend on us and there is nothing for us to do besides waiting. But we must not mistake waiting with inertia.

Let’s observe the planet and the universe we live in. Science teaches us that the Earth is constantly moving and the universe is on permanent expansion. Each one of us is a part of this world. Anguish, sadness, worries, constant anxiety? Movement is the answer. It materializes itself through work, studies, physical and mental renewal. It’s through movement that we build wellness and enhance our lives and the lives of others.

The movement of the mind is good for the body. The movement of the body is good for the mind. And both moving together towards building useful things generate material and spiritual progress, bringing health and peace to all the areas of the living being.

Waiting for the situation to get better? Try the productive wait.

Thanks for your company! See you soon, Lord willing,

Tolerance, a road to peace

By Euzébia Noleto, November 3, 2009 1:00 am

flores-diferentes-vivem-juntasSome time ago we talked about tolerance with people who offend us. Today we’ll talk briefly about tolerance with differences.

For our spiritual development, there’s no use being sympathetic and kind on social occasions, if in our minds we act as merciless judges of other people’s conduct. True tolerance manifests itself from the inside to the outside, meaning that we do not criticize because there’s no criticizing thought in our minds. If there’s no tolerance inside us, sooner or later we’ll express our real ideas, no matter how polite we might be, and then we’ll run the risk of being hurtful to our fellows.

We are all different and that difference is a divine resource to promote our learning on Earth. If we don’t exercise tolerance, besides wasting the opportunity of learning and evolving spiritually, we’ll nurture conflict on places where there should be friendship.

We can’t demand that people think and act the same way we do. Let’s place ourselves on other people’s shoes to understand them better.

When we cultivate tolerance, we bring peace to our relationships, but not just that: when we accept the idea that we must allow each person to follow his/her own way, we walk the road that leads to true peace inside us.

Have a blessed week, full of peace and harmony.

                        See you soon,

In times of peace

By Euzébia Noleto, August 31, 2009 1:00 am

primavera-flores-em-tempos-de-paz

Everything on this life is transitory: happiness, sadness, failure, success…

With that in mind, is important that we keep a realistic attitude in times of peace and happiness.

These moments, which are divine gifts, are ideal occasions for us to strengthen our faith, solidify our knowledge by studying and get a good provision of hope for the future. This way, we strengthen ourselves and become able to face the challenges that may appear before us.

It’s important to meditate on this because it is common to forget about our spiritual disciplines when we are happy. Some of us even forget completely about God. And, when the moments of pain come, we have to face them with a faith that could be much stronger, if only we hadn’t stopped to feed it.

Prayer and doctrinarian study are essential on any time, of peace or not. If we convince ourselves of this reality, we’ll be able to build a solid basis for our faith, strong enough to win over any obstacles without falling into anguish or despair.

“Everything passes… joy, pain, happiness, sadness…

The Universe is an eternal dynamic…

The worlds renew themselves; the beings evolve…

Nature dies and is born again thousands of times…

A Sun comes from another Sun…

A cell comes from another cell…

Only God stays…

Only God is…”

Pastorino (message received by the medium Chico Xavier)

                        Have a blessed week!

                        See you soon,

Spiritual laziness

By Euzébia Noleto, August 17, 2009 1:00 am

tempestade

Undoubtedly the days seem shorter for the many activities that must be done; however, nothing justifies neglecting the time that must be dedicated to spiritual interchange, specially praying and studying.

Most of us find the time to watch certain TV shows, to visit many websites, to have long conversations on the phone. It is perfectly possible that we set aside some minutes a day to dedicate ourselves exclusively to studies and prayer.

When we start or end our day without praying, or when we neglect our spiritual disciplines in some way, we are giving a hint that there are other things that we consider more important than the contact with God. When the negligence happens repeatedly, we’re capable of feeling the distance that we have imposed between ourselves and the Savior.

So, when it’s least expected, we become sad and bitter, full of anguish and weakness, unable of facing the challenges of life, and we do not understand the reason for feeling this way. It is certainly worthy to wake up a little earlier or making any necessary adjustment to fit prayer time into our routine. The one who makes prayer a constant in life will not be free from the troubles of the way, but will surely feel stronger through the power of sincere prayer.

Recognizing the priority of what really matters is a matter of choice, a choice that depends only on us and makes all the difference between a life of affliction and a life of peace.

                        Peace and blessings!

Giving what you don’t have

By Euzébia Noleto, August 10, 2009 1:00 am

bemtevi                        When we are full of anguish and anxiety, facing many challenges in life, tranquility and peace seem like extremely hard to reach. If we stay focused on ourselves, then they’ll become moving targets: the more we look for them, the more they go away from us.

That happens because we live selfishly, letting our own problems become the center of our lives. However, if we stop, look and pay attention to what’s around us, on the streets, on the workplace, and even inside our homes, we’ll see people facing challenges as difficult as ours and, frequently, much more difficult.

On the hard times o four lives, helping others might be the last thing we feel like doing. That’s exactly the point where our mistake resides: these moments are specially suitable to Christian action.

We may not have peace, tranquility or someone who supports and stimulates us; but we do have what it takes to support, stimulate and help other people to calm down, even when we don’t think we can.

When we give to others the peace we don’t enjoy and the encouragement we don’t have, something inside us changes, making us stronger to face the challenges of the present and the future. We might not understand how that happens, but we can clearly identify there the endless Divine Mercy in action.

Have a blessed, peaceful and joyful week!

                        Fraternally,

                        Euzébia Noleto

Rational obedience

By Euzébia Noleto, August 3, 2009 1:00 am

There are many people who say they want to serve the Lord, but don’t accept to obey their parents, teachers, employer, authorities.

The real desire to serve never comes without obedience. That’s why we must learn to obey, if we want to serve God. If we don’t know how to follow orders, if we rebel ourselves against our superiors, how can we pay obedience to the laws of God?

When we disagree of some point of view of those we must submit to, we don’t have to remain silent; it will always be possible to go through the subject respectfully, and, most times, solve it. However, many believe that rebelling is the best option, so they argue and sometimes even incur in physical aggression. How can confrontation make thing better?

On each moment of our lives, each one of us has a task to fulfill; if at the present our task is to obey, let’s accomplish it rationally and with joy.

“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness to your heart, as unto Christ;

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive whether he be bond or free.”

Ephesians, 6: 1, 5, 6 and 8

I wish you an excellent and blessed week!

                        Euzébia Noleto

The constant mistake

comments Comments Off
By Euzébia Noleto, July 27, 2009 1:00 am

We are creatures that are still evolving, so, we are fallible. When we make mistakes, we must repair the situation as much as possible,  forgive ourselves, learn the lesson and move on.

We are often pretty good at fixing the situation, forgiving ourselves and moving on, but not so competent at learning the lesson.

When we don’t stop and think about what led us to a certain attitude and what can we do to not commit the same error again, we become susceptible to make new mistakes on the same area, each time bigger and worse, since we’ve had the opportunity to learn a lesson and we threw it away.

That’s why we must all seize the occasion of the mistakes to grow and evolve, and not returning to the previous stage, because there are many ways in which we can act towards life, but choosing to stay in error is the worst of them all.

“The one who knows Jesus cannot allow himself to constant and irresponsible excusing, which dominates a countless number of people.

Do not justify your mistakes.

If possible, avoid making mistakes.

Forgive the fallen ones and help them, but fight to stand up yourself.”

Joanna de Ângelis
